This afternoon the UV index warned "10+ Extreme" so Monica, Yuji, and I sought refuge at the Yaizu Fish Market. They had each been there two other times, but it was my first time to visit our neighboring city's claim-to-fame. I bought a few things to bring back to the US (how do bonito flakes, sweet beans, and
sembei sound?) ;) After the market, we tracked down an electronic dictionary for Monica and then hit up
Kappa Sushi, the conveyor-belt-100-yen-a-plate restaurant.

Egg plant sushi?? Hamburger sushi?? The three of us ate about 24 plates worth! Mmm so good!
