Golden Week 2008 "Constitution Memorial" & "Green" Days

Over the holidays, my church held "Early Summer Camp" at a farm-turned-YMCA facility next to Mt Fuji. We played a lot of games in between rain showers, had a BBQ, a bonfire, played UNO, talked and laughed, went for walks in grassy fields, and made lots of great memories!

Here are a few photos of the nearly 300 I took ;) Game time!Singing & s'mores at the bonfiremmmm, with a Japanese twist (chocolate wafer cookies, marshmallow, caramel syrup) they were fantastic (and sticky!)!

Final group shot...it's so cool to see how the church is evangelizing and disciplining people!! I love them & am honored to be a part of such a ministry in Japan. I'd love to host a summer camp in Minnesota with this same group! :D How about next year, guys?

Oh. My. Gosh. The pics of Mt. Fuji are amazing. Wow. That is all I have to say...except that the s'mores sound yummy and we will have to try them that way when you come home. ;D

Love ya.
