The rice season is about to begin! Today farmers were out in the crazy windy weather (from a typhoon off the coast) stirring up the land, preparing it for planting before the rains come! On May 31 I get to roll up my pant legs, wade through the flooded paddies barefoot, & plant rice by hand! I'm so excited! :)

Sarah, that sounds like it is going to be so much fun! I can just see you out there with your bamboo hat and your pants rolled up...so cool. ;D I love it!
