So far this month I ~~
Watched a spectacular sunrise from atop a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River because:
"From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the LORD is to be praised."
Psalm 113:3 (NIV)
Decorated a couple Christmas trees (with kids). Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?! ... Of course four Christmas balls look good on one branch!
Co-hosted a cousins sleepover at my (brave) sister's house.
Seven boys - Age 3 to 9.
Took me 2 days to recover ;)
We ate whoppers - apparently an unusual snack for the boys - and 5 year old Grant is so used to "Tia Sarah" bringing funny Japanese treats that he didn't believe whoppers were from their local grocery store! :P
The boys used their creativity with an assortment of crackers, candy, and peanut butter ~

Hung out with Superman

Well, except for the partridge, everything is true! :)
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!
Luke 2:15-18
"When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, 'Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.'
So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them."

Wow, you've had a busy couple of weeks! The sunrise pics are beautiful - looks very, very cold though. You are one brave and hardy soul, my friend!
Guess what - my friend Nakko from Japan is in town this week! We're already having a great time. I took her to church w/ me today, and later this week if the weather stays clear, I think we'll drive up to the Grand Canyon!
