Maki sushi

Last night a few of us ALTs went to a family's house for "maki sushi" (roll your own). I met some of these Japanese people in January at a British-Japanese Society New Year's party (English speaking, non-Brits were invited too ;)) They're generous and fun people who are hosting a "hanami" party April 8th. (Hanami is cherry blossom viewing--the people go crazy about it here. We'll pack a lunch & eat it under the full bloom cherry trees.)
