Bunkasai Day 1

It's been a really fun past few days & I want to blog about it; my eyelids are heavy and I hear my bed calling, but here goes--

My school's Bunkasai (culture festival) started today & continues all day tomorrow. It's an annual chance for students to show-off their talents and hard work. This morning everyone gathered at a community music hall to hear the classic guitar, brass band, drama, broadcasting, and cheer clubs. The scene that drew the most laughs and screams was when 6 male teachers made an appearance dressed ready to perform & impress! They danced & sang as the audience snapped pictures and saw a side of the teachers rarely (if ever) seen.

The Guitar Club

The Drama Club

The Cheer Club: The cheer club is all about manly men here, no girls allowed (notice the students in the audience...when the cheer team came on stage, they couldn't contain their energy!)
And, finally, my favorite: the teachers rockin' out! :)

(If it looks like they can't dance, it's 'cause they can't. That made it even more hilarious!) :D
